110 people turned out to RN’s information day on July 31.  It was a smashing effort.

Our audience told us they are keen to cut greenhouse gas emissions and to lower their power bills. Tosh Szatow of Energy for the People outlined possibilities for switching Newstead to 100% renewable energy.  RN is developing a commercially viable model to do this.

Thanks to all who attended for your questions. They will be used to guide RN’s future communications with our community. Responses to those questions will be posted on this website soon.

If you live in or within 25km of Newstead, please do our survey. Download it from this site or pick up a hard copy from the Newstead Rural Transaction Centre.
