The continued quest for the answer to “What is Renewable Newstead actually up to?” leaps ahead when someone, somewhere does something that could, in fact, be an outcome for the State funded project. Not that I pre-judge the issue but the strong emphasis in my last post was to note some things that this is not.

CitiPower, the urban wing of Powercor, has teamed up with  Moreland Energy Foundation (MEFL) to take a crack at the vexing issue of sharing local power locally. The Age article talks us through the whole “micro grid” issue and left me feeling more confident about using that micro grid jargon.

It’s well worth a read and thank you Geoff for drawing it to everyone’s attention.
